What Adruckus Is and Why These Terms Exist

Adruckus (adruckus.com) is a publication. We research things, explain them, and publish what we find. These terms cover the deal between you and us when you use this site. Read them. They matter.

Advertising Keeps the Lights On

This site runs on advertising revenue. That means display ads, programmatic ads, and occasionally sponsored content will appear alongside our editorial work. Sponsored content is labeled as such. The ads you see are served by third-party ad networks — we don't control every ad that appears, but we do our best to filter out the junk.

For the full picture on how your data is handled in connection with advertising and everything else, read our Privacy Policy.

Using This Site

You can read, share links, and quote excerpts for commentary or journalism — that's what the internet is for. What you can't do:

  • Copy and republish our articles in full, anywhere, without written permission
  • Scrape the site systematically for commercial purposes
  • Use our content to train AI models or populate databases without explicit written agreement
  • Do anything that breaks laws, harasses people, or tries to game or damage this site

If you want to license or reprint something, email us. We're reasonable.

Intellectual Property

Everything Adruckus publishes — the writing, the headlines, the structure, the presentation — belongs to Adruckus or to the contributors who created it under agreement with us. You get a limited, non-exclusive license to read and share it. That's it. "I found it on the internet" is not a license to republish.

If you submit something to us — a tip, a letter, a correction — you're giving us permission to use it editorially. We won't sell your tip to a third party, but we may publish it or act on it.

What We're Not Responsible For

We work hard to get things right. But we're not infallible, and we're not liable for decisions you make based on what you read here. Adruckus publishes information and analysis — not professional legal, financial, medical, or safety advice. If you need that kind of guidance, find a licensed professional.

We link to external sites sometimes. We don't control them, we don't vet everything on them, and linking is not an endorsement. Follow those links at your own judgment.

The site is provided as-is. We try to keep it up and accurate, but we can't guarantee uptime, error-free content, or that the internet will behave.

Liability Cap

To the extent the law allows, Adruckus's liability to you for anything arising from your use of this site is limited to zero dollars. We're a publication, not an insurer.

Changes to These Terms

Things change. We'll update these terms when we need to. When we do, the updated version goes live on this page with a new effective date. If the changes are significant, we'll try to flag that clearly. Continuing to use the site after changes are posted means you're working under the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where Adruckus operates. If there's a dispute and it can't be resolved directly, it goes to the courts of that jurisdiction.
